GESU' NUOVO (NEW JESUS)

It is the masterpiece of baroque art in Naples.It was built up during the XVI century by the order of Jesuits on the same place of the renaissance "Palazzo Sanseverino",of whose preserves the ashlar facade of daimond tip shape.
The inside is very rich for the covering made  of marble,for the rich decoration of the altars and of the chapels for the great number of marble sculptures.
In the chapel of "Visitazione" (second one on to the right) are conserved the mortal remains of San Giuseppe Moscati canonized in the 1987 and much loved by the believers,with a small museum of his life.
