Commento: We stayed here at the beginning and end of our two weeks in the Bay of Naples. Very comfortable room, very good service. Thanks to all particularly Rosy for help before and during our two stays. Thank you for helping us enjoy our holiday to the full.

Commento: We'd heard bad stories of Naples... some compared it to Sarajevo or Somalia, others told us the crime was bad and the neighbourhoods dodgey.. and we were expecting to have a yucky time and just want to get straight on a boat to Positano.... however, the Chiaja Hotel in Naples held ensure we had a fantastic Napolitana experience. The service was great - very friendly. The rooms were stylish and we managed to get a good deal (third night free). Most of all though, the LOCATION is fantastic, via Chiaia is a great shopping street AND if your up for it... you can walk from Napoli Belvedero pier (where most boats to the Amalfi region come in. The only criticism I have was the air conditioning, it was hot, damn hot... 32-38 degrees celcium and very humid. While the room we stayed in for the first few nights had decent air con, the room we had on our return visit had a system that neither we nor the staff could run properly and ended up sweating a good part of the night away. Can I also recommend the Pizzeria named Brandi, on Salita Sant'Anna di Palazzo (just off Via Chiaia), fantastic restaurant. If its hot get a table outside or ask for the first floor balcony if you're after some romance.
